2 Years of Rae’s Reading World

Hi and welcome to the reading world!

I wanted to take some time to share my excitement that it’s officially been 2 years that Rae’s Reading World has been around!

In celebration, I wanted to share some of my favorite book lists from the past year to help introduce the blog again and look back on this year.

One of my favorite trends from my posts this year has been highlighting favorite reads of mine from each quarter, from January to March, April to June, and July to September. The final quarter will be shared in the new year as I wrap up all of the 2022 reads!

I also got to have some other mini book list series. One was sharing a certain number of reads based on publication year, such as 21 reads from 2021 and 19 reads from 2019.

One of the most exciting things from having blogged for several years was that tags I’ve created were ones I could officially revisit in addition to creating some more original tags. These included some tags like Hit the Books Back to School, Making Waves,

I also got to share lists for months like Women in Translation month and Pride! Although these books are ones that are great to read all year, it was an exciting opportunity to highlight more of the titles during those celebrations. This year for Pride I decided to share a book list every week, and got to share find recommendations for 2022 Releases, and two lists for Reads with LGBTQIA+ Representation.

Finally, this past year in Rae’s Reading World I got to enjoy exploring even more genres and formats of reads. Graphic novels became a new favorite reading format for me this year, and I got to share several lists including Graphic Novel Recommendations and LGBTQIA+ Graphic Novel Reads.

It’s been a fun year of blogging for Rae’s Reading World, and I’m excited for what’s in store for next year!

I’m thrilled to be celebrating the second anniversary of Rae’s Reading World!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Rae
