Top Ten Tuesday: Bookish Tech & Tools I Use

Hi and welcome to the reading world!

For today’s Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl I’m going to be sharing some of the bookish apps and tools I use! This list is definitely not comprehensive but how I’m able to track my reading, find new reads, and connect with the bookish community! I’d love to see in the comments what apps and tools you use.

1. Book Blogs

This is one I had to highlight for this list! I’ve enjoyed having my blog this year and following others. I’m also currently experimenting with some tools I’ve seen other blog platforms use and enjoyed as a feature as I continue to develop the blog, so stay tuned!

• Bookstagram

Another online platform for bookish community, I’ve loved using bookstagram! It’s been a fun way to connect with other book lovers, find my book club, and more!

• Storygraph and/or Goodreads

I love using Storygraph to track my reading and I use Goodreads as well and have been updating that although I want to get back into using Storygraph more too!

• Libro.fm

Libro is my favorite platform for purchasing audiobooks because I can also support independent bookstores with this!

• Libby

This is my favorite app to use in order to make the most of my local library’s resources- it allows access to your library’s audiobook and e-book library with using your library card!

• Bookish First

A fun way to review some books and enter giveaways to read some ARCs and early copies!

• Bookshop.org

I use this one for my favorite independent bookstores that I can’t visit easily and don’t have their own website- it’s still a great way to support indies!

• Local Indies

I always enjoy seeing independent bookstores when I explore a new area, and I definitely have some favorites I enjoy returning to.

• Little Free Libraries

This is a great way to find some new reads for free and donating your own books to help these little community libraries continue to flourish. I love finding new LFLs to check out using the website database.

• Publisher Websites and/or Netgalley

I like checking out what upcoming releases for books are, and using netgalley or a publisher’s website (especially independent publishers and small presses!) is a great way to do so!
