Most Anticipated New Releases: May 2021

Hi and welcome to the reading world!

It’s time again for me to share some new releases I’m excited about coming out next month. I keep this list to 10 of the (many!) exciting new releases for a month because if I shared every single book I’m excited about, we’d be here awhile.

While I enjoy pre-ordering a few books when I can to help support upcoming books, I definitely have too many new releases I’m excited about to be able to get and read them all. I also utilize my local library frequently, oftentimes picking up new releases and backlist titles, and get used books. If these new releases are something you’re interested in, definitely consider checking out your local library/Libby- if they aren’t available already when the book comes out, you can place a hold, request your library purchase a copy, or check into Inter-Library Loan options! I’m constantly trying to be mindful of being a more sustainable reader, so these are areas I’m trying to improve in while also balancing wanting to support new book releases!

If I’ve gotten any details like release date incorrect please feel free to leave a comment with more updated information, I’m going off of the Goodreads pages for US releases as I write this. I’ve decided to forgo writing what genre other readers initially classified on Goodreads as and let the reader check out the synopsis and future reviews to get more information. Without further ado, here are 10 books coming out in May 2021 I’m excited for!
