Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Meant to Get To

Hi and welcome to the reading world!

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is themed around books I meant to get to reading. I’m never a huge fan of set TBRs for myself because I inevitably get off track with my reads, but these are some books I meant to read in 2020 and hope to do so this year!

  1. I’m currently listening to the audiobook of A Promised Land. 29+ hours of book! I think about KINDRED often. Very disturbing.

    1. I have the audiobook of A Promised Land as well and I’ve been listening to the narration slowly but surely! It’s an excellent read. I’ve definitely heard Kindred deals with some very difficult topics but also that it is a sci-fi classic and an incredible book. Definitely interested to read it myself as well as read more of Octavia E. Butler’s work this year. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I love making TBR lists, but I rarely actually stick to them. Case in point: I put 50 books on seasonal TBR lists in 2020 and only read 19! I haven’t read any of the books on your list, although I do love Sanderson’s Mistborn series. I hope you love all these when and if you get to them.

    Happy TTT!
