Hi and welcome to the reading world!

For today’s Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, I’m sharing a little bit of an insight into my reading plans for 2021.
This year, I’m really trying to be more mindful of my book spending, my reading habits, and also making sure I’m reading more of what I love.
- Prioritizing my physically owned TBR
- Utilizing my library to read books
- Purchasing only my favorites from what I read via the library (I got this idea from Books with Brittany on Youtube and Read with Staci on Bookstagram also shared a little about reading sustainably)
- Prioritize purchasing pre-orders and favorite reads from indie bookstores and second hand
- Focus on reading more fantasy and figuring out my favorite series and subgenres within fantasy
So it’s not a top ten list, but there’s a glance into my goals for reading in the next year. As I try to be more a more sustainable reader and dive more into my favorite genres, I’m excited to continue to find new favorite reads in 2021.
What are some of your reading goals this year?
Thank you so much for stopping by!

The library is an amazing resource! I’m glad you’ll be using yours more this year.
My post.
I’m seeing a lot of bloggers saying they need to focus on their currently owned books (myself included). Seems we’re all really good at the buying books thing and not so good at the reading the books we buy thing. xD At least we’re all in this sinking ship together! LOL.
I love that you want to read more fantasy! Fantasy is by far my favorite genre and constitutes most of what I read, but there’s such a huge breadth to the fantasy genre. 😀
Here’s my TTT post.
I was surprised to see that I got most of the books I read last year from the library. It wasn’t a HUGE majority, but it was a majority 🙂 I’m going to try to utilize my library even more this year. Good luck to both of us on that one!
Happy TTT!

Lovely list – catching up on my tbr before buying more books was never going to happen for me! That would have been a resolution I would have broken already! But like you, I want to support our independent bookshops more – especially now. These are my bookish New Year Resolutions, and some that I know I could not achieve!
